Not sure which vaccines you need? A travel health consultation gives you a personalised assessment from a trained clinician — covering your destination, travel style, health history and vaccination status. No GP referral needed, no waiting weeks for an appointment.
What's covered
Your clinician will review:
- Your destination(s) and itinerary, including specific regions and activities
- Your vaccination history and any gaps in protection
- Any relevant health conditions or medications that affect which vaccines are suitable
- Destination-specific risks: food and water safety, insect-borne diseases, altitude, and more
- Any entry requirements for vaccines (e.g. Yellow Fever certificate)
You'll leave with a clear plan of which vaccinations to have, a schedule if a course is required, and written advice tailored to your trip.
Free with any vaccination
The consultation is free of charge when you receive at least one vaccination during the same appointment. The £30 fee applies to consultation-only appointments where no vaccines are administered.

A standalone consultation typically takes 15–20 minutes. If vaccinations are given at the same appointment, allow 30–45 minutes in total.
If you have a previous vaccination record (NHS Yellow Book, GP immunisation history), bring it along. It helps your clinician identify any gaps. Also bring details of your itinerary and any regular medications you take.
